Rainbow PDF Server Based Converter V3.0 supports:

MS-RTF is not supported even if the extension is ".doc". Microsoft WordML created in MS 2007 is not currently supported even if the file has been converted to a WordML 2003.

Rainbow PDF Server Based Converter V3.0analyses the content created by Microsoft Word, and generates pages for print by simulating Word. Paper size, orientation and margins adopt the "Page Setup" of Word.
Paper size, margins,number of characters in a row and number of rows in a page are addressed in horizontal writing, but not in vertical writing.
The following formats simulate Microsoft Word. footnotes are not currently supported.

• Line height might not be set correctly.
• Hyphenation is not outputted.
• Password protected documents cannot be converted.
• FirstSaved documents cannot be converted.
• In MS Office, if the font specified for a character doesn't have corresponding glyph, another suitable font might be substituted. Such substitution is not done with this product.
• WMF/EMF contained in documents created in earlier versions of MS Office 95, and saved again in later versions of MS Office 97, might not convert.
• Embedded objects and linked objects of OLE cannot be displayed (If the information for display is embedded in the document, it might display).
• If there is a long character string of tens of thousands of characters without the linefeed (CRLF), the conversion may fail.
• Object and text shadows and 3-D effects are not supported.
• Gradation of a line in a figure is not supported.
• Outside borders of an image are not supported.
• Vertical alignment (center, bottom) of text in a text box is not supported.
• "Widow/Orphan control", "Keep lines together" and "Keep with next" of the paragraph setting are not supported.
• Boundary lines of a column gap are not supported.
• Combined characters are outputted with standard letter size in one line.
• "Tight" and "Through" in Text Wrapping around an object are outputted as the same as "Square".
• Character shading and borders in a text box are not supported.
• Diagonal borders in a table cell are not supported.
• Some line styles in character borders, column borders, tables, cells and page borders are not supported.
• Page border colors are not supported.
• The AutoFit function of a table is not fully supported.
• Cell spacing in a table is not supported.
• "Track Changes" is not supported. The final edition will be converted.
• Balloons for Comments and Track Changes are not supported. They are converted without showing the baloon text.
• Shapes created in Excel and PowerPoint2007 and pasted on on Word2007 are not convertible.
• ChartML pasted on Word2007 is not convertible.
• The position of a shape in a vertical writing document is not converted correctly.
• Expressions made with the "Equation Tools"in Word2007 are not converted. They are eliminated.
• SmartArt graphics are not converted. They are eliminated.
• Word ML files created with MS office 2007 saved in the compatablity mode as a 2003 file are not supported.
• ActiveX controls cannot be displayed. (If the information for display is embedded in the document, it might display).
