Index after wich to insert the data point.
yValue
The Y-value(s) of the DataPoint object added to the collection (one or more comma-separated values).
List of Y values of the data point.

Inserts a DataPoint object into the collection at the specified location, with the specified Y-values.


The Y-value(s) of the DataPoint object added to the collection (one or more comma-separated values).


Insert one data point with one or more Y values.

Parameters

index

The index value where the item should be inserted.


Index after wich to insert the data point.
yValue
The Y-value(s) of the DataPoint object added to the collection (one or more comma-separated values).
List of Y values of the data point.

Remarks

This method adds one data point to the DataPointCollection object, inserting it into the specified location.

You must provide at least one (1) Y-value, otherwise an exception will be thrown. This method also checks the ChartType property of the Series object this data belongs to, and if too many Y-values are specified an exception will be thrown.

If your data points need an X-value (e.g. if you are creating scatter plots) then use the InsertXY method instead.

For DateTime formatting to have an effect a value must be a DateTime object.
