Dundas.Charting.WebControl Namespace > ChartArea3DStyle Class : PointDepth Property

Gets or sets the depth of data points displayed in 3D chart areas.

Series points depth in percentages (0-1000%).

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Property PointDepth As Integer
Visual Basic (Usage) Copy Code
Dim instance As ChartArea3DStyle
Dim value As Integer

instance.PointDepth = value

value = instance.PointDepth
C#
public int PointDepth {get; set;}

Return Value

A value which represents the depth of data points. The allowable range is 0-1000 percent, and the default is 100 percent.

Remarks

This property determines the depth of data points, and is represented as a percentage of the data point width.

PointDepth is applied to the depth of bar, column, line, pie and spline chart data points only. Setting this property for chart types that cannot have their point depths "stretched" (e.g. bubble and point charts) will reserve extra space for the data points, but will not increase their depth.

Displaying the chart as an isometric projection (accomplished by having the RightAngleAxes property set to true, which is its default) will cause the point depth to appear more or less than the percentage set by this property, depending on the chart being displayed.

To control the spacing between rows of data use the PointGapDepth property.

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 2000, Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional, Windows Server 2003 family, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 family
