Return Value

A string expression representing the URL of an image file.

Represents a path to an image file, and can be an absolute or relative URL.

If this property is set for both a data point and its series then the data point's marker image will be used. The Series' marker image will only be used for data points that do not have their own marker image attribute set. For a detailed explanation on how data is drawn please see the Appearance of Data topic.

To use markers set the MarkerStyle property to a value other than MarkerStyle.None.

The MarkerImage property takes precedence over the MarkerColor property.

A marker image can be any valid graphics file supported by .NET, including icons.

You can set one color of the marker image to be transparent using the MarkerImageTranspColor property.

Note that markers will not be applied to data points of pie, doughnut and any stacked chart types.
