Gets or sets the legend's alignment.

Legend alignment

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Property Alignment As StringAlignment
Visual Basic (Usage) Copy Code
Dim instance As Legend
Dim value As StringAlignment

instance.Alignment = value

value = instance.Alignment
C#
public StringAlignment Alignment {get; set;}

Return Value

A .NET Framework StringAlignment enumeration value that represents the legend's alignment. The default is Near.

Remarks

The legend can be aligned so that it is Near, Center or Far, and is affected by the Docking property setting.

If it is docked to the top or bottom then Near is to the left, otherwise it is to the top. The Far property setting is opposite to the Near setting.

Center always centers the legend, either vertically or horizontally.

Setting the Alignment property will have no effect if the Position property is not set to Auto.
