Return Value
A Color structure. The default is Color.White.
You can set this property to any valid ARGB (Alpha, Red, Green, Blue) value. Note that for the Chart object the Alpha component cannot be set to a value other than 255. This also means that (for the Chart object only) a Color.Transparent value cannot be used.
The BackColor value will be the first color used if you are using gradient colors for the background.
If you set this color to "transparent" (e.g. use an Alpha value of 0) then no color will be assigned to the element's background and as a result the background will be transparent.
Target Platforms: Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 2000, Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional, Windows Server 2003 family, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 family
