Before you start the PureLoad Console, you need to have the
following PureLoad server processes running:
Typically you run the Naming process and tasks space process on
one
host in your local network and as many Manager processes on
several
hosts as required.
How to start the servers depends on the operating system you are
using:
The server processes executes in a shell (or command window) and
shows information when starting. Typically something like this
example,
starting the naming process:
% bin/naming Starting naming... Server licensed to: Jan Andersson, PureLoad Software Type: Naming Server Version: PureLoad 5.0 Host: 192.168.1.104 IP Address: 192.168.1.104 RMI Port: 1099 is ready |
Starting taskspace and manager looks similar:
% bin/taskspace Connected to naming server: 192.168.1.104:1099 Type: Task Space Server Version: PureLoad 5.0 Host: 192.168.1.104 IP Address: 192.168.1.104 RMI Port: 1096 is ready |
It's important to make sure that the server is started, using the
expected IP address. If not, you need to change the
properties controlling
this.
